Originally from Bendigo, with over 10 years of OT experience, primarily in the Neuro area. Bec graduated from Deakin University, Geelong and moved to Melbourne to work at the Austin hospital in inpatient and subacute rehab in Neuro for 2 years before moving to London to work and travel.
Whilst in London she worked in all areas of the Neuro care continuum; acute, sub-acute, inpatient and community rehab. Which really embedded her love for working as an OT with neurological conditions. After traveling around Europe as much as she could in the two years of working, she returned back to Australia to live in Torquay. Where she began working for Barwon Health in community neuro. After having my second child I commenced work for Scope working with clients with complex physical disabilities and enjoyed the challenges associated with this.
Bec loves living in Torquay with her husband and family of two boys and a girl. She enjoys time at the beach over the summer and to go for walks along the beach with her dog. She enjoys going camping especially when the weather is nice. Also enjoys gardening, baking and cooking and reading and spending time with her family.
